The Mayor of Engenheiro Coelho – Pedro Franco – took office as President of the Orientation Council of Fundocamp (Fund for Metropolitan Development of Campinas) – responsible for overseeing the implementation of the financial resources of the Fund in projects of common interest to the 20 municipalities of the Campinas Metropolitan Region.
Also took office as members of the Deliberative Council the Mayor of Itatiba – Douglas de Oliveira; the Mayor of Morungaba – Marquinho Oliveira; as the representative of the Government of the State, Regional Director of the CDHU – Felipe Carraro and the Administrative and Technique directors of Agemcamp – Carmen Elias and Jamile Fonseca. The meeting of members happened on Friday’s morning, at the headquarters of Agemcamp, in Campinas.
The Orientation Council was created to oversee the implementation of the resources of Fundocamp from financial contributions provided by the Government of the State of São Paulo and by the 20 municipalities of CMR. The purpose of Fundocamp is to give financial support to integrated planning and actions of common interest between the State and the Municipalities, as projects and actions that aim to improve public municipal services and the quality of life in the region.
